Rooted in prayer, growing in faith, moving in His power.

The Prayer Ministry at Calvary Chapel exists to seek the heart of God, support the body of Christ, and intercede for the needs of our church, community, and world. Rooted in Scripture and dependent on the Holy Spirit, we believe prayer is both a privilege and a vital part of a believer’s life. Our ministry provides opportunities for people to receive prayer, grow in prayer, and stand together in faith.

Where hearts meet God and lives are changed.

We desire to cultivate a culture of prayer – one that reflects dependence on God, compassion for others, and confidence in His power to move. Whether someone is facing a crisis, celebrating a victory, or simply seeking God’s direction, we want them to know they are not alone.

Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people”.

We prioritize consistent, intentional prayer by covering our leaders, ministries, missionaries, and church family through dedicated intercessory teams, and by coming together each week before services to seek God through worship, His Word, and prayer for our community and the world.

What we do

  • Intercessory Prayer – Faithful teams pray regularly for church leadership, ministries, missionaries, and submitted prayer requests.
  • Before – Service Prayer – Weekly for corporate prayer focused on worship, Scripture, and intercession for our community and beyond.
  • After – Service Prayer – Servants are available after services to pray with anyone seeking encouragement, healing, or guidance.
