CCV Women

CCV Women at Calvary Chapel Villages offer the opportunity to minister to every woman in the church who desires to participate. There are three venues of ministry:

  • Ministry through Trish Smith’s teaching, as well as to one another, in order to keep our hearts kindled … tending the inward-fire in each of us so that we stay ablaze through Christ Jesus!
  • Come alongside the CCV Care Team in assisting with women in the church who need a female’s touch and assistance in various ways
  • Opportunities to reach out into the communities surrounding us as the Holy Spirit directs us to meet the needs He intends for us.

Care Team Ministry

The care ministry is in place to assist those in our congregation that have almost any kind of need. Our goal is to be a blessing providing assistance through prayer, physical labor, fellowship, visitation, meals or benevolence.

Missons & Ministry Update:

Sumter County Jail Ministry

God continues to provide an amazing opportunity for CCV to minister to both women and men at the Sumter County jail in Bushnell.  Those we are reaching desperately need transformation through the power of the Gospel message.  We preach Christ and Him crucified.

The mentoring program takes place every Tuesday.  Pray for Kay Van Mill as she leads her team to minister to the women and for Paul Caucci as he leads the men’s team.  Pray also for wisdom for Kay.  Often women who have been released reach out to her for help in securing appropriate accommodation.

The G.R.I.T. program (life application courses) is currently on hold while the jail officials determine how best it can be implemented.  Pray that they will see the value of these courses and give us the green light to proceed.
