IRAN ALIVE Ministries:

Our vision is to “Transform Iran into a Christian Nation, in this Generation”, according to Jeremiah 49:38 — “I will set my throne in Elam,” declares the LORD.

We believe that this is more than a lofty goal, conjured up by men striving to validate a ministry’s call.  It is a promise from the Lord, that He WILL establish His throne in Elam (present day Iran).

According to the latest release of the Operation World Manual, Iran has the fastest growing Evangelical population in the entire world!  This is not because it has grown from ten people to hundreds of people, but because it has exploded from hundreds of Persians, to hundreds of thousands of Persians and continues to grow exponentially. At a 19.6% growth rate, the Evangelical population is doubling every four years!

Amazingly, Afghanistan is number two on the list, while Tajikistan ranks 10th, making three of the top ten fastest growing Evangelical populations on the planet Farsi-speaking countries reached by our satellite broadcast.

More Persians have come to Christ in the 33 years since the Islamic revolution of 1979, than in the 1400 prior years…combined!  The majority of these have come in the last 10 years, since the launch of Christian satellite TV broadcast.  The Lord is doing something unique and special during this time in Iran.  Join us, so together, we will make history in Iran while this amazing window of opportunity is open.

Missons & Ministry Update:

Sumter County Jail Ministry

God continues to provide an amazing opportunity for CCV to minister to both women and men at the Sumter County jail in Bushnell.  Those we are reaching desperately need transformation through the power of the Gospel message.  We preach Christ and Him crucified.

At the present time (March/April 2020), due to the virus outbreak, access to the jail is not possible. However, the jail officials are very interested in our continuing the mentoring ministry when the restrictions are lifted. The mentoring program takes place every Tuesday. Pray for Mike Barber as he leads the team ministering to the men. A new leader for the women is being sought and the program for women will recommence when the position has been filled.

The G.R.I.T. program (life application courses) has been on hold for several months. Pray that the jail officials will see the value of this program and give us the green light to offer courses again.
