Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel Villages has the opportunity to minister to every woman in the church who desires to participate. There are three venues of ministry:

  • Ministry through Trish Smith’s teaching, as well as to one another, in order to keep our hearts kindled … tending the inward-fire in each of us so that we stay ablaze through Christ Jesus!
  • Come alongside the CCV Care Team in assisting with women in the church who need a female’s touch and assistance in various ways
  • Opportunities to reach out into the communities surrounding us as the Holy Spirit directs us to meet the needs He intends for us.

Care Team Ministry

The care ministry is in place to assist those in our congregation that have almost any kind of need. Our goal is to be a blessing providing assistance through prayer, physical labor, fellowship, visitation, meals or benevolence.

Missions Spotlight: Emily Jerome – Youth with a Mission (YWAM) Boston

Pray for Emily as she handles a heavy workload.  To augment her support base she teaches English to children in China via the internet.  Because of time zone factors she must start her workday very early.

As for her YWAM responsibilities, a new evangelism opportunity has opened up, namely teaching English as a second language to immigrants in the Boston area.  Right now, Emily is leading final preparations for a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course, which will train the teachers that will be involved in the program.  This training starts January 20th.  Pray that the teachers, as they show genuine Christian love to their students, will have many opportunities for witness.

There is a lot to do in preparation.  Emily asks for prayer for grace, creativity and strength.
